Hi Friend!
We are John and Benita, an empty-nester American expat couple, and we are passionate about exploring new destinations. We are excited to share our travel adventures on land and at sea.
We have lived in Costa Rica's beautiful southern zone for the past two years. Our boat, "Me and Johnny V" is a 63 foot Hatteras Motor Yacht that we cruised down from Florida early last year.
2,200 nautical miles, 6 countries, 36 days and a Panama Canal crossing later, we now call Golfito Me and Johnny V's new home port.

Salty Dog 1
Bentley
Bentley is our 7 year old terrier mix and he is the epitome of a velcro dog. If you are looking for Benita, just find Bentley, because wherever she is, it's a guarantee that they will be together.

Phoebe
Phoebe is our 6 year old Pomeranian mix. She takes dock and boat security very seriously and takes pride in alerting us when there is a stranger danger lurking nearby (aka any person walking past our boat).
